Paper and cardboard: First originating as a paper and cardboard recycling, CBD Waste maintains a strong reputation for our foundation service as we’ve scaled to include all major waste streams.
General waste: After pre-sorting the material and recovering what’s recyclable, waste is diverted from landfill through Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems and waste-to-energy facilities.
Co-mingled recycling: Co-mingled recycling consists of waste such as food and drink packaging (unspoiled), aluminium and steel cans, glass bottles, foils and milk cartons. Our processes sort through co-mingled waste to extract the most recyclable material possible.
E-waste: CBD Waste safely collects, transports and triages e-waste that is then sent for recycling by our strategic partner, Sircel, who recover up to 100% of materials.
Organic waste: CBD Waste provides collection services for food organics as well as on-site containment and management processes. Our onsite processes include dehydrator units that pasteurise food waste to become a rich fertiliser additive and refrigerated compactor solutions for high-volume food organics.
Cooking Oil Services: The hospitality industry produces a high volume of cooking oil waste that can be recycled with minimum fuss and minimal cost. CBD Waste offers our clients competitive rates without compromise of quality.
Fluorescent Tubes and Lamps: Lights can be made with up to 30% harmful mercury. CBD Waste safely recycled these products through our “Drop-a-Box” program where a box is dropped and collected whenever it is full.
Dry waste: Dry waste is materials that aren’t biodegradable or do not decay. CBD collects dry waste and transports it to a waste-to-energy facility to divert these materials from landfill.
Grease traps: Our waste experts can clean and maintain grease traps to prevent harmful liquids ending up in landfill. The liquid is treated to remove toxins and discharged, with the cleaned liquid being reused as a fertiliser.
